Feb 24- entry 23

It's almost summer and i'm so ready for summer! First, I don't have school so I can sleep till whenever. I don't have any responsibilities unless i get a job! I doubt it though, so I get to chill with my buddies, go bridge jumping, boating, camping, and party! It's also going to be really nice out, we wont have the snow.

School is so boring, for real half this stuff don't mean anything to anyone besides if your trying to be a teacher. Why do i need to read Romeo and Juliet a play that is really about stuff that i don't care about at all. This school is no fun at all and there are about 20 people i will talk to in the hall i don't like anyone else in this highschool. lol one more year

Some states have now made it illegal to drive while talking on a hand-held cellular phone. Do you think this is a good law

that should be passed in other states as well? Why or why

not? Explain your answer.

- I think you should be able to talk on the phone, but not texting. I think you can drive and observe whats around you while you talk on the phone. I think texting and drivin is a bad idea because your eyes aren't on the road and you're usually looking down to correct your text. I think talking on the phone is safer and should be legal, and that texting is bad and should be illegal.

Today’s top professional athletes often have salaries and bonuses in the tens of millions of dollars. Do you think these

athletes deserve such high compensation? Why or why not?

Explain your position and use specific reasons and examples.

- I think no they should be paid a million tops, anyone can live with making a million a season. It may be a hard job, but there are a lot of players and each doesn't need that much money. If they gave the star player the bonus for doing something like winning the super bowl that sounds right, but not 10 mill every season.

Feb 15 entry 21

Romeo is kinda weird, seems really love drunk. I couldn't see myself being friends with him he is very weird. I don't see him changing at all, I don't know how you could be that obsessed with a girl. i think he can love her but why does he got to make it so weird and different from how it is now a days

Juliet is also a weird girl, I couldn't imagine hooking up with a girl like Juliet. She is also love drunk and I think they both need a hobby.

The play is very confusing, but when we stop and talk about it it all makes more sense. I don't think we should read Romeo and Juliet because it is nothing what life is like now. I really don't see a point in reading this unless your bored and want to learn a new language.

We grew up in the same vicinity, the town has been here for at least a century. I was raged to see they were concluding the courtyard for the winter. It was undeniable, we couldn't do a thing they had documents and everything.

January 11

She seemed like a sweet old lady. Who would ever beleive that she was really a dude!

I used to go to her house for halloween every year, until the day I saw the cops carrying out a old man out of her house. She was part of the school and was also very nice to kids. She was everyones favorite teacher. They said this old lady was really a 40 year old mexican, who illegally came to the states. She was was arrested for selling dope to kids in the school and for kidnapping. Who would of thunk it, this sweet old lady is a mexican wit a couple felonies?

Thanks for writing and sharing. Your most resent entry was probably your best. Good job on that. Just make sure that you are careful about what you say -- make sure your words don't convey hate. Yes, you may believe that it's not right for two people of the same-sex to be married, that's fine. But there's no need to elaborate on why it is "sick". That is offensive.

You are missing some entries. Make sure when I say the date and entry number that you write it down. It's much easier for me to grade when I can see all of your entries in order.

I think lust is very popular in the U.S. Commercials persuade people by using sexual things or persuades people with a hot girl saying she used the product. Lust is approved of about everywhere that I know, it aint that big of a deal in the U.S. it's pretty popular in the U.S, even with kids. Teenage pregnancy is rising everyday more and more. I think lust between two of the same sex is condemned by most of the world, of course besides Iowa for some reason. I think it's sick havin' lust between to dudes!!!!!!! very sick and I hate that it's legal.
